Various community support groups meet at St. Peter’s Health and around Helena each month.
Alzheimer's Support Group
This group is for anyone impacted by dementia, whether you are a patient or caregiver or just somebody with questions about Alzheimer’s. The group meets the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Thursday of every month from 7 – 9 pm unless the day falls on a major holiday. Meetings take place at 1740 North Montana Ave., across from Eaton Turner Jewelry. Please call Cindy Stevick at 406-431-0452 with any questions.
Bariatric Support Group
We invite you to attend a FREE Bariatric Support Group Meeting. These support groups are for those who have undergone or are considering Bariatric Surgery (lap band, gastric sleeve or gastric bypass). Discussions will range from nutritional information to open discussion for guests to share experiences. Held the second Tuesday of each month 5:30-6:30 pm at St. Peter's Health. Big Sky Caregivers Connect
Volunteer family caregivers are invited to join a monthly CareGiving Support Group hosted at Touchmark, 915 Saddle Drive at noon on 4th Wednesdays of every month. Bring a brown bag lunch for the one-hour opportunity to meet other caregivers, share experiences in caregiving and find support and resources for caring for your loved one. No cost. Circle of Hope
This is a survivor-led support group for women who have or have had cancer. It is supported by St. Peter’s Health and meets the first and third Wednesdays at noon at the Survivor’s Boutique, 1054 Helena Ave.
Diabetes Support Group
Designed for those with diabetes and a family member or support person, this group meets the third Thursday of each month, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., in the Clinical Nutrition Conference Room at St. Peter’s Health Regional Medical Center. (In November and December, the group meets the first Thursday of the month due to Thanksgiving and Christmas.) Please use the East Entrance and follow directional signs. Grief Support Group
St. Peter's Hospice periodically offers a 7 week grief support group for those who have experienced the death of a loved one. The group is for adults, free of charge and open to the public. Registration is required and group size is limited. Contact Lynne Grant at 406-447-2464 for further information.
Loss of Family Member or Friend to Suicide Support Group
This group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm at St. Peter's Medical Center in the #3 Conference Room. For more information, please contact Jamie at email@example.com
An all ages group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6-8 pm at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, 3580 N. Benton Avenue. The gathering provides a place where individuals can talk about loss of loved ones to suicide. Pregnancy Loss Support

Ostomy Support Group
Patients, families, friends and caregivers are invited to join the St. Peter’s Health Ostomy Support Group. Dedicated to helping patients with intestinal or urinary diversion return to everyday living, the group provides education, information, support, advocacy and open discussion regarding ostomy issues. The group meets from 5-6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Education Center at St. Peter’s Health Regional Medical Center at 2475 Broadway (enter through the Main Entrance and the Education Center is directly across from the cafeteria). Chronic Illness Support Group
This group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 6:00-7:30pm in the # 1 Conference Room at St. Peter's Health Regional Medical Center. Enter through the main doors and the # 1 room is located on the right at the end of the cafeteria.
This group is open to the community and no registration is required.
