St. Peter’s Health Expands Hours, Changes Location of Drive-up COVID-19 Testing

October 12, 2020

St. Peter’s Health announced today that it is expanding the hours for their drive-up COVID-19 testing and has opened a new testing location. The new location for all drive-up COVID-19 testing is in the parking lot to the east of the St. Peter’s Health Medical Group Clinic at 2550 Broadway Street in Helena. The drive-up COVID-19 testing site is across the street from the Regional Medical Center (hospital). The former drive-up testing locations outside the Urgent Care at the Regional Medical Center and North Clinic are now closed.

The single drive-up testing site will create a more streamlined process for COVID-19 testing for community members experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (with a provider order) AND those who need a COVID-19 test ahead of a scheduled surgery or procedure. Signage will be available to help direct community members to the new drive-up testing site. The location will be open from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The St. Peter’s Health Urgent Care location at the Regional Medical Center team is dedicated to providing care to people who are experiencing COVID-19 and flu-like symptoms. The Emergency Department is open year-round and around-the-clock to deliver care to people experiencing severe or life-threatening symptoms.

St. Peter’s Health encourages people to get tested for COVID-19 if they are experiencing symptoms. Anyone experiencing symptoms should call their primary care provider or pediatrician. Their provider can submit an order for drive-up testing and provide additional care recommendations. Other convenient testing locations are available in the community, including at PureView Health Center and Walgreens. Community members can learn about all testing options at www.sphealth.org.
