Orientation

St. Peter’s Hospital provides a 3-day new employee orientation program. Orientation takes place every other week and includes a two-day class-room agenda, an employee/director breakfast, one day with the information service staff, and a new employee reception. The Orientation Specialist acts a liaison for the Human Resources Department to ensure open and effective communication between the hospital staff and new employees, thus insuring new employees have an easy transition into their new jobs.

A typical 3-day agenda would cover:

  • St. Peter’s Hospital Personal Service Expectations
  • Hospital policies and Programs
  • Personal Appearance
  • Attendance Policy
