Oversight and Responsibility

• Board of Directors
  • Primary responsibility is to develop and follow Hospital’s mission statement and develop policy in five key areas:  quality, financial, planning, managing performance, and assessing governance effectiveness
  • Sixteen community members and the Senior Management Team
  • Executive, Finance, Planning, Community Relations, Joint Conference, and       
    Nominating committee
• Senior Management Team
• President & CEO and seven Vice Presidents who manage the Leadership Team in the following areas:  Finance, Patient Care Services, Support Departments, Human Resources, Physicians, Quality, and Foundation
• Oversee all Hospital operations
• Medical Staff Leadership
  • Provides leadership to the medical staff as a whole and works in collaboration with the Hospital and its Board of Directors in planning and evaluating patient care provided at St. Peter’s Hospital
  • Chief of Staff works together with a Chief of Staff Elect, Secretary, and chairs of Obstetrics/Nursery/Pediatrics, Family Practice, Anesthesia, Emergency Services, Medicine, Surgery, Pathology, and Radiology
